Vardhman Developers , one of the leading real estate companies in India , and their partners Bherumal Shamandas got the award for the Best Commercial Project of the Year Mumbai for Jewel World at the 22nd Annual Awards organised by Accommodation Times for excellence in various fields in real estate. The awards given out by Accommodation Times are India 's first, oldest and largest recognised institutional awards in the real estate space.
Jewel World is Mumbai's first jewellery mall located at the iconic Cotton Exchange Building at Zaveri Bazaar. Jewel World aims to restore the lost grandeur of Zaveri Bazaar with distinctive designs, Italian marble and plasma displays. It also boasts of a high level of security including three ring security with surveillance cameras, automated imported shutters, trained building security. The developers have also used Korean material which has a capacity of fighting fire for over three hours.
Speaking post the award ceremony, Rajesh B. Vardhan, Managing Director, Vardhman Developers Ltd. said, "It is indeed an honour to receive this award.
