Leading engineered solutions provider for the Bulk Material Handling, Thejo Engineering brings to Indian market for the first time the latest Dust Suppression Technology - DUSGON. The company is the sole Indian distributor for DuPont , Australia 's patented technology.
Under this agreement, Thejo offers important skill sets, namely access to core sector clients, capability to customize design and engineering of application systems of the product onto stock piles, rail wagons, haul roads etc. and DuPont provides access to an effective (patented) dust suppression technology and product to Indian consumer. Besides, Thejo shall be offering its clients with continuous service and maintenance for these customized solutions.
“We plan to target 15% of the estimated Rs2bn Dust Suppression market within next two years. Thejo has brought this technology to counter environmental vulnerability created by India 's rapidly growing core sector," said V.A. George, CEO of Thejo Engineering. The distributorship came into existence because of the substantial growth anticipated in Thermal Power Plants (expected to increase by 50% in a few years), Steel Plants (expected to grow at the rate of 7%); similarly the infrastructure requirements will ensure substantial growth in cement capacities (expected to grow at 22% for the coming year). The requirement of other non ferrous minerals is also showing an increasing trend, said George.
He further added, “All these surges will have one common factor, increase in handling of mineral ores, coal, coke, limestone, dolomite etc. These raw materials will have to be mined, stored and transported, thus creating multiple points in the supply chain with potential dust pollution. We have evaluated DUSGON to determine the benefits for Indian environment and it met and exceeded our expectations without doubt. We're looking forward to working with our partners at DuPont in implementing this powerful system in the core sector.” |
