Chennai Metro Rail Ltd has awarded to Larsen & Toubro Ltd two tenders for constructing elevated viaducts.

The tenders are for the design and construction of elevated the viaduct (excluding stations) from Ashok Nagar to St. Thomas Mount at a total cost of Rs 141.13 crore and another for the stretch of the elevated viaduct (excluding stations) from Saidapet to Officers Training Academy at a total cost of Rs 173.30 crore.
